Moonlight Sonata Burnaby Overview

Located at Wayburne Drive & Woodsworth Street in Burnaby, BC, Moonlight Sonata is a residential project in Burnaby by Symphony Homes Limited. The project comprises 13 residential buildings with a total of 130 townhomes. Design and Construction

The project is named after Ludwig Beethoven’s famous piece of music, Moonlight Sonata. The design, by Vancouver-based Integra Architecture, features 13 low-rise buildings constructed with Nexii panels, a green construction innovation known for its earthquake resilience, energy efficiency, fire resistance, and water resistance. The floorplans offer 2- to 4-bedroom layouts with 9′ ceilings, custom storage spaces, and a built-in entertainment centre. Interiors are finished with a choice of hardwood, laminate, and carpet flooring; a Fisher & Paykel appliance package; and quartz countertops & backsplash. Vehicle parking is accommodated in a 2-level underground parkade.

Moonlight Sonata Burnaby offers several amenities including a community plaza, a children’s play area, and a 2-storey amenity building. The amenity building, Club Sonata, will offer a 24-hour gym, meeting rooms, games rooms, lounge area with kitchen, and a rooftop terrace with multiple outdoor barbecue dining areas. Location and Accessibility

Moonlight Sonata Burnaby is located within a short distance of K-12 schools, BCIT, and green spaces such as Harwood Park, Deer Lake Park, and Burnaby Lake. Greentree Village Community Centre, with an indoor pool, exercise room, sauna, and common room, can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The recreational amenities at Christine Sinclair Community Centre and Burnaby Lake Sports Complex are a comfortable bike ride away. For household shopping needs, Costco, The Amazing Brentwood, and Metropolis at Metrotown are all less than 10 minutes by car.

The project offers easy access to Highway 1, Grandview Highway, Lougheed Highway, and SkyTrain for connections to other parts of the Lower Mainland. The expected completion for Moonlight Sonata is June 2024.
